How does it work?
The client begins by completing an intake form describing past and present health, an overview of each of the body systems as well as a 7-day Food & Mood Journal. Ideally these will be completed and submitted prior to the appointment. If this isn’t possible, other arrangements can be made. During the consultation the client has an opportunity to discuss their health in a detailed manner. Where applicable, Jazmine may use clinical assessment skills such as blood pressure reading, urinalysis, humoural/constitutional analysis or other examinations to further understand the client’s health status. If the client has been prescribed any medications, supplements and or herbs by a Doctor or other Health Practitioner, these will be accounted for in the treatment plan.
Herbal medicine is a holistic modality, where all aspects of the individual are addressed-mind, body and spirit. The treatment plan will be individualized and focus on underlying causes rather than only treatment of symptoms. Jazmine understands that healing is a personal journey and respects where each client is at in this process. Her role is to help facilitate sustainable and attainable health goals with her clients. Remedies may include herbal preparations such as tinctures, teas, topical ointments and syrups. Natural supplements, diet and lifestyle recommendations may also be recommended.
